Nicholas Chorier, a kite photography expert, is casting new light on famous buildings, such as the Taj Mahal and Udaipur City Palace, the Daily Telegraph reported. The 47-year-old French photographer makes his own kites using siliconized nylon and carbon sticks, and ties his image equipment in a small cradle dangling from the kite.
Chorier uses a remote control to move the cradle and camera into the best position to take the picture and check the images with a portable TV screen. "From above it's a completely new vision, new perspectives, new ways to understand the landscape and heritage," he said. "Every place has something interesting to show from above."

A magnet lady
For Brenda Allison, her mysterious power in which metallic objects can stick to her body has long since lost its attraction, the Daily Mail reported. Dubbed 'the human magnet', Allison says she is often embarrassed by the effect, in which coins, magnets, spanners and even a metal lid from a Vaseline pot can stay on her body for up to 45 minutes without falling off.
When she was a child, she said, her parents stopped buying her watches because her magnetic field kept interfering with the timing mechanism. Her body has set off car alarms, interrupted the TV signal and blown out light bulbs. She says her body can emit a negative or positive charge, depending on the time of the month.
