| A revision of the Regulation on Work-Related Injury Insurance now classifies any injury that occurs on a person's commute to work as a work-related injury, regardless of where it occurs, Xinhua reports. Before, only people who were involved in motor vehicle accidents could claim work-related injuries. Now, non-motor vehicle accidents, such as those that happen on urban railways, ferries or trains, will also be considered, and victims will be compensated if they are not responsible for the accidents. The law now also applies to more institutions. Previously, only business employers were obliged to pay the premium, but now public institutions, social groups, non-profit organizations, foundations, law firms and accounting firms will also provide their employees with work-related injury insurance. |

| University officials in Bangladesh have ordered a major rat extermination drive after rodent meat found its way into chicken curry served to students, the BBC reports. The incident happened at Rajshahi University in western Bangladesh. One student detected the head of the rat while eating his lunch. That student instantly suffered an upset stomach. Soon after the incident hundreds of angry students staged a demonstration demanding action against the chef. The chef has now been suspended and apprehended by police. |

| Children should be banned from watching films like "101 Dalmatians" and "Lord of the Rings" because they feature people with cigarettes, according to an NHS anti-smoking group, The Telegraph reported. It said research showed children were more likely to start smoking if they had been exposed to certain images, including people smoking on television and in films. Therefore, it wants the Plymouth City Council in Devon to use its powers to reclassify such films. The council described it as a complex issue that should be left to national classification systems and guidelines. The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) said banning children from films was not the answer. |

They first took more than 200 sleeping pills and attempted to gas themselves on Tuesday, but were rushed to the hospital after the father's colleague discovered them. They were saved by neighbors the next day after slitting their throats. |
