韩国再次进行实弹演习
Seoul conducts live-fire drills near border

The South Korean military has conducted Monday live-fire exercises on Yeonpyeong Island, close to the border with the North, BBC reports. The drills had been planned to begin at 9 a.m. local time but was delayed repeatedly till 2:30 p.m. by heavy fog. The drill is expected to last for one hour, but the South Korean military said they would "immediately and sternly" deal with any "provocations" from the North.

据英国广播公司消息，韩国军方周一在南北边境海域的延平岛举行实弹演习。演习按计划应该在当地时间上午9时开始（北京时间8时），但因大雾一直推迟至下午2时30分才进行。演习预计持续1小时，不过韩军表示，如果朝鲜方面做出任何“挑衅”行为，他们将“立即并严厉地”回应。

This move comes despite repeated threats of retaliation from Pyongyang. Residents living on Yeonpyeong Island have been told to evacuate or take shelter. The UN Security Council has been discussing the situation but has failed to reach any agreement.

尽管平壤方面威胁报复，此次演习仍照常举行。延平岛上的居民已被告知撤离该岛或躲入掩体避险。联合国安理会一直在就朝韩局势展开讨论，但至今未达成任何一致。
