A Spanish nun has been kicked out of the religious order after spending too much time on social networking site Facebook, the Daily Telegraph reports.

The nun, Maria Jesus Galan, 54, also known as "Sister Internet" by her fellow nuns, had lived the past 35 years in seclusion.

Sister Maria, who lists her hobbies as "reading, music, art, and making friends" had almost 600 Facebook "friends" at the time of her eviction and now has fan pages with thousands of supporters from around the globe calling for her to be allowed back into the order. （点击《每日电讯报》查看原文）

修女脸谱网上瘾被除名

       据英国《每日电讯报》消息，西班牙一名修女因为迷恋社交网站脸谱网，日前被所在的隐修会除名。

       该修女名为玛丽娅·耶稣·戈兰，今年54岁，其他修女都称她“网络嬷嬷”，她已经在修道院隐居修行了35年。

       玛丽娅修女在脸谱网上将自己的兴趣列为：“阅读、音乐、艺术、交友”，她被除名时，网络好友多达近600个。目前她拥有一个粉丝页面，来自全球的几千名支持者共同声援，希望隐修会能再次接纳她。
