据新华社报道，南京市近来频频发生孕妇盗窃电动自行车现象，人们或许会用怀孕改变了女性心理作解释，其实不然。

Local police say that pregnant women account for a large proportion of those arrested for stealing e-bikes. Last year, one police station alone caught about 20 pregnant women stealing e-bikes.

当地民警介绍说，他们每年抓到的偷车贼中孕妇占了不小的比重，仅去年一年，一个派出所就抓了近20个偷车的孕妇。

Some say that the law actually encourages pregnant women to steal these bicycles, because according to state law, pregnant or lactating women cannot be arrested. Police say pregnant women apprehended are always arrogant, saying they know the law and the policemen cannot punish them.
