A man threw himself off the world's tallest building in Dubai Tuesday, plummeting to his death in the first suicide from Burj Khalifa tower, MSNBC reports.

Local reports quoted security officials as saying the worker fell from the 147th floor of the 828-meter-tall tower and landed on a deck on the 108th floor.

Local media believed the man jumped following a dispute with his company.

世界最高楼首现自杀

       据MSNBC网站消息,周二,一男子从世界最高建筑迪拜塔跳楼自杀,成为该建筑物上的首例跳楼事件。

       当地媒体援引安保人员的话表示,这名工人从828米高的迪拜塔第147层跳下,坠亡于第108层的露台。

       当地媒体确信该男子系对公司不满而跳楼。

       警方也从该男子同事中获悉,他的休假请求被拒。
