Most young people believe getting married means owning an apartment.
One fifth of urban young people postpone getting married and having kids due to the pressure of buying an apartment in the city, says a survey conducted by Well-being Magazine, reported the Beijing Times. 《京华时报》消息,《小康》杂志社最近的调查显示,两成城市青年,因住房压力“推迟结婚”和“推迟生育”。
According to the survey, 21.9% of urban young people renting an apartment feel "no sense of belonging." 21.9%的城市青年租房一族感觉“无归属感”。
Most young people believe getting married means owning an apartment. Some 67.4% young people surveyed did not want to get married in a rented apartment. 大多数青年人认为,结婚意味着拥有一套自己的房子。67.4%青年人明确表示,不愿租房结婚。
Among married urban young people, half had bought a commercial apartment. 在已婚的城市青年中,买了商品房的人占到五成。

The study surveyed urban young people from 25 to 35 years old.
