Students prepare for College Entrance Examination

June 7th and 8th are tense dates for millions of Chinese high school students as they take one of the most important exams in their life, the college entrance examination.

More than nine million students around China are expected to sit this year's test. Teachers, and people in many industries are busy preparing for a smooth exam. Maps of examination halls, timetables and other key information are posted in schools around the country.

Teachers adjust the position of desks and benches to ensure a comfortable sitting for their students. Doctors at local health departments also provide help that students may need. Every exam hall features real time monitoring to ensure a fair and transparent exam.
