|In South Korea hundreds of books related to The Art of War have been published since 1953, giving not only the book the award of best seller, but also the longest selling book.
|Various versions of the classic book were available in the country's book stores. Its comic version is favored among the young and old people in South Korea.
|The book has also been adopted into the strategies in commercial rivalry, maintaining relationships, and the online game industry.
|With the popularizing and studying of "The Art of War," the book has penetrated into people's social life, and the traditional Chinese culture has enlightened the South Koreans, said South Korean scholars.
|The Art of War is an ancient Chinese military treatise that is attributed to Sun Tzu, a high ranking military general and strategist of the Kingdom of Wu. Sun Tzu was active in the late-sixth century BC, during the late spring and autumn period.
The book is composed of 13 chapters, each is devoted to one aspect of warfare, it is said to be the definitive work of military strategies and tactics for its time, and is still read for its military insights.
