Pastafarian dons strainer on license

An Austrian atheist has won the right to wear a pasta strainer as religious headgear in his driver's license photo, BBC reported.

Niko Alm, a Pastafarian, first applied for the license three years ago after reading that headgear was allowed in official pictures, but only for confessional reasons.

Alm said the sieve was a requirement of his religion, Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

       尼科•阿尔姆是一名“飞行面条怪物信徒”。三年前,他了解到出于宗教原因可以佩戴头饰拍证件照后,就开始申请驾照。

       据阿尔姆介绍,头戴漏勺是他所信仰的“飞行面条怪物教”的要求。

       不过,他花了三年时间才拿到驾照。据说,他还被要求做了心理健康测试。
