The Bulgarian Olympic Committee released the final lists of its Olympic teams on Wednesday, local press reported Thursday.

According to the list, 72 athletes in 15 sports will represent Bulgaria at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

The biggest is the track and field team with 16 athletes, followed by wrestling, 13, and volleyball, 12.

The weightlifting team (six men and two women) is not taking part in the Games after positive doping tests last month.

The first group of Bulgarian athletes departs to Beijing on July 28.

The State Youth and Sports Agency will provide a bonus of 140,000 leva (about 114,000 U.S. dollars) for an Olympic gold medal, 120,000 leva (about 98,000 U.S. dollars) for a silver medal and 100,000 leva (about 80,000 U.S. dollars) for a bronze medal.
