The Olympic torch relay continues in Gansu Province, with Sunday's leg covering Jiayuguan.

Yu Haiyan, the board chairman of Jiugang Steel Group, started the relay at Donghu Triathlon Monument. A total of 208 torchbearers took part, including short-track speed skating world champion Yang Yang. The 14-kilometer route covered both the inner and outer city of Jiayuguan.

Jiayuguan is located in the middle part of the Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province, which was the hub of the ancient "Silk Road". The well-known Jiayuguan pass is connected to the Great Wall.
