Song Xinyi helps herself up after falling down on the ground in her kindergarten in Chengdu, capital city of southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Oct. 27, 2009. Shielded by the bodies of her parents, three-year-old Song Xinyi survived the 8.0-magnitude earthquake that hit Sichuan Province on May 12, 2008. After receiving artificial limb rehabilitation treatment, little Song Xinyi stood up again and started a new life. Now, she has been a pupil of Chengdu's Golden Apple Kindergarten. With the mass help from different circles of the society, little Song Xinyi become optimistic and grateful. As Xinyi's 4-year-old birthday came, people who care for Xinyi all along came from different cities of China to gather in Chengdu and held a birthday party for her.
