Forest fire breaks out in SW China

Firemen make an all-out effort to put out a forest fire in Naxi Autonomous County of Yulong, Lijiang of southwestern China's Yunnan province around 5am, on Monday, Feb 28, 2011. The fire broke out scores of kilometers away from Lijiang Ancient City, which cut off the main power transmission lines. The Provincial Forest Fire Prevention office swiftly allocated more than 400 firemen to fight the forest fire, which is expected to be extinguished around 8am on Tuesday, Mar 1.[Photo: Xinhua]
