Algerian border troops patrol on the Algerian-Libyan frontier in the closed border port of Tinalkoum in southeastern province of Illizi, Algeria, on Sept. 1, 2011. It was reported that Libyan embattled leader Muammar Gaddafi's wife Safiya, his daughter Aisha, and sons Hannibal and Mohammed, accompanied by their children, entered Algeria Monday morning through Tinalkoum border port. Algeria has closed its main border ports with Libya, in view of the fragile security situation in Sahel region and Libya, local media reported. [Xinhua/Mohamed Kadri]
