Santana sedan of the 1990s

In 1984, Shanghai Volkswagan Co. Ltd. was established as a joint venture of the Shanghai Automotive Industry (Group) Co., The China Automotive Industry (Group) Co. and The Volkswagan Automotive Co. of Germany. In March 1985, the Santana sedan was officially put into production.
