Yuyuan lanterns light up Spring Festival

China's 2012 Spring Festival falls on January 23. The whole nation is celebrating the great family-reunion holiday, which often lasts 15 days until the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, February 6 this year.

Lighting up Spring Festival lanterns has been a long-cherished festivities for the holiday. Here are local lantern fair activities reported from China.org.cn's journalist Zhang Tingting in Yuyuan, Shanghai.

Yuyuan Spring Folk Artistic Lantern Festival is held in Yuyuan Garden, the most famous classic garden in Shanghai.
