Boy monks walk out from prefabricated house after classes at the elementary school of Changu Monastery in Jiegu Town of Yushu Tibetan Prefecture, northwest China's Qinghai Province, March 17, 2012. More than 30 boy monks now live and study at the temple's elementary school in Yushu Tibetan Prefecture, which was hit by an earthquake in April 2010. Affected by the earthquake, the school has to move students to prefab houses for study and cut such classes as English, physical exercises and computer after the earthquake. Boy monks here have to get up early at 5 a.m. every day to start their study, including reciting sutra, learning Tibetan and Han languages, and cannot go back to bed until 9:30 p.m. The temple offers accommodation to these students and even gives them a small sum of pocket money every month.
