World Teachers' Day marked in Kenya, Pakistan

Kenyan Education Minister Mutula Kilonzo delivers a speech at a ceremony to mark the 2012 World Teachers' Day in Nairobi, Kenya, Oct. 5, 2012. Since the World Teachers Day was created by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1994, it has been celebrated with an aim to mobilize support for teachers and to ensure that the needs of future generations will continue to be met by teachers.
