Bian Xiping, inheritor of intangible cultural heritage ceramic arts and crafts, paints on a ceramic plate by using traditional skills in Huating County, northwest China's Gansu Province, Nov. 29, 2012. Huating ceramics have a history of thousands of years, producing arts like slip casting and ceramics painting and many varieties with local characteristics. Nowadays, constant technical renovation and grooming of successors to painting ceramics are made to revive the local ceramics painting industry.
