The undated photo provided by China Marine Surveillance shows the Haijian 50 surveillance ship patrolling around the Diaoyu Islands. Geographically part of Taiwan, the Diaoyu Island and its affiliated islands (the Diaoyu Islands for short) are situated to the northeast of the Taiwan Island. Located between 25°40'–26°00' north latitude and 123°20' –124°40' east longitude, they include the Diaoyu Island, Huangwei Islet, Chiwei Islet, Nanxiao Island, Beixiao Island, Nan Islet, Bei Islet and Fei Islet, with a total land area of 5.69 square kilometers. [Photo: Sina.com.cn]
