Hongqi is a top Chinese native vehicle brand which recently revived following central authorities' ban of extravagance in terms of purchasing foreign cars for official uses. Hongqi's last diplomatic mission was hosting visiting the French President François Hollande. The Hongqi vehicle is carrying a civilian license plate, whereas in the past, such diplomatic vehicles mostly carried military plates. [Chen Boyuan / China.org.cn]
