17 rescued, 10 dead in mine fire in NW China

Rescuers get prepared to go down the Chengcheng sulfur mine in Chengcheng County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, July 24, 2013. The mine caught fire Tuesday afternoon when 27 people were working underground. Seventeen of them had been rescued, while 10 others were confirmed dead early Wednesday. The fire started on an electric cable when workers were repairing air shaft facilities. [Photo/Xinhua]
