A Carrefour store in downtown Beijing caught fire Wednesday afternoon. Around 3:10 p.m., heavy smoke and open flames were seen from a Carrefour outlet building in Chaoyang District of Beijing, according to Xinhua News Agency. It remains unknown if there are any casualties. Two days ago, a woman was killed and three other customers were injured in a stabbing incident at another Carrefour supermarket in Beijing.
