Harbin-Shanghai high-speed train service opens

A steward brings food to passengers on a high-speed train which departed from Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province for Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station in east China's Shanghai, Dec. 28, 2013. The Harbin-Shanghai high-speed train service was officially opened on Saturday. The new line, running across the country's frigid regions, cut passengers' travel time to around 13 hours from the previous 32 hours. (Xinhua/Liu Changlong)
