Smog envelops Yongjiang river bank in Nanning

CHINA-GUANGXI-SMOG
Photo taken on Jan. 4 shows the Yongjiang River and buildings on the bank of it enveloped in smog in Nanning, southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. According to the AQI issued at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nanning and Liuzhou were in heavy pollution, with Guilin in medium pollution. Continuous smog has happened in many regions of Guangxi in the first four days of 2014. (Xinhua/Lu Boan)
