Dead pigs collected from river in China's Nanchang

Dead pigs are collected from a section of the Ganjiang River in Nanchang, capital of east China's Jiangxi Province, March 19, 2014. As of Tuesday afternoon, 131 dead pigs had been collected from the Ganjiang River which provides drinking water to the provincial capital. Collecting efforts are still under way in the river. Examination of all water intakes in the city by the environmental and health authorities showed that the tap water is safe for drinking, according to local government. [Xinhua]
