A man takes a bath in a knee-deep water section of the Shule River. The Shule River is one of the largest inland rivers in the Hexi Corridor of Gunsu Province. It starts in the Qilian Mountains and stretches out along 670 kilometers. In history, the river has always functioned as an important water source for the area's agricultural irrigation. However, many sections of the river have run dry due to the long dry spells in recent years.
