A total of 1,600 strong men carry a giant wooden dragon boat -- 77.8 meters long by 2.5 meters wide -- through the streets of Shibing County, Guizhou Province, on May 28, 2016. The dragon boat was prepared by the local Miao ethnic group ahead of the coming Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on June 9 this year. The vessel has applied to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest wooden dragon boat and the application has received preliminary confirmation from the organization. It will be rowed by 180 female paddlers at the Dragon Boat Festival.
