Editor's note: June 1 marks International Children's Day. Schools and kindergartens in China usually hold celebratory activities such as get-together parties, camping trips or movie screenings. In the following pictures, children from a kindergarten in Lianyungan, Jiangsu Province, celebrate with a masquerade party. Wearing colorful masks and costumes while walking on a T-stage and posing for pictures, the children enjoy themselves to the fullest. The makeup and costumes display the imagination and creativity of the teachers, children and their parents.
