Around 1,400 prisoners have been transferred to safety after heavy rainfall and a mudslide hit southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.
Several parts of the wall and fences of the prison collapsed on Thursday evening, forcing the relocation of 1,400 inmates overnight.
More than a hundred soldiers and prison police officers worked together to transfer the prisoners to two other prisons.
The prison authority has reinforced security and ensured provisions.
