Editor's note: A hat-bookstore hybrid has recently opened to the public in the Librairie Avant-Garde in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, becoming the first of its kind in China. The Librairie Avant-Garde is often touted as one of China's most beautiful bookstores, and the recently opened hat-bookstore, as the name suggests, is a bookstore selling both books and hats. Its products include Taiwanese books and postcards showing Chinese and foreign celebrities wearing fancy hats. With its distinctive style, the hat-bookstore has attracted countless visitors since it opened early this month.
