Editor's note: Hechi is a prefecture-level city located in southern China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The city is home to 4.25 million people, more than 80 percent of which are ethnic minority groups, including Zhuang, Yao, Mulao, Maonan, Miao, Dong and Shui. The ethnic groups and their customs have given the city a rich cultural heritage.
