A total of 2,000 Chinese tourists attended a banquet in Busan, South Korea on Dec. 21. The tourists were employees of a Chinese company that arrived in Busan via chartered flights. In recent years, South Korea has launched a series of measures to attract Chinese tourists. According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the South Korean government will issue special visas for Chinese tourists who buy "tourism products" worth 3 million Won ($2,500) starting as soon as January 2017. The visas will be valid for five years, granting tourists access to South Korea at any time during that period. [Photo/VCG]
