Editor's note: Han Xu, 28, planned to stay at a local hospital after she graduated from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Occasionally, she saw an enrollment guide from the National Police University of China, which recalled her childhood dream to be a policewoman. After two years of study, Han moved to Wuhan and became a judicial doctor at the city's police station.

During the past one and a half years, Han has investigated hundreds of crime scenes. She believes that using what she learned, she can give those victims and relatives the truth. She said, "Corpse can't talk, but my work can help dead 'talk'."
