Li Lian uses his ferry boat to transport a car over the Chaobai River, which is about 50 meters wide, in Yanjiao, Hebei Province, March 20, 2017. Li Lian says the demand for transporting cars with his boat has increased dramatically in the past five years. He starts to work at 6 am. It's 1 yuan ($0.14) for a person to take the boat, 2 yuan for bicycle or electric bike and 10 yuan for a car to cross the river. Li Lian and his nephew earn about 3,000 yuan a month. [Photo/VCG]
