A visit to Myanmar's Shwedagon Pagoda

Editor's note: The Shwedagon Pagoda is a gilded pagoda in Yangon, Myanmar. It is the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in the southeastern Asian country. The stupa is believed by locals to be built more than 2,500 years ago. The pagoda is 326 feet high and covers 114 acres of land. The pagoda is a sacred place for local Buddhists and a must-see for visitors to the country.
