The construction and management bureau of the central route of China's South-to-North Water Diversion Project holds a joint emergency drill for water pollution with Hebei provincial government in the province's Zanhuang County for the first time on May 26. The drill simulated a truck accident on a highway over the water canal which resulted in the falling of a chemical tank into the canal, thus causing ensuing water pollution.
