Dr. Shen Chen (L), Vice President of Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), introduces an oracle bone with scripts to a colleague at the storage of ROM in Toronto, Canada, Dec. 1, 2017. China's oracle bone scripts, an ancient type of Chinese characters inscribed on animal bones or turtle shells, entered the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Memory of the World Register on Oct. 31 this year.
