Yusup Tapuhan (C) makes butter naan at home in Yuli County of the Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture of Bayingolin, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Oct. 17, 2018. Yusup Tapuhan launched his butter naan business in 2000. The making of this popular pastry has been a tradition in Yuli County. In 2017, a dedicated local naan guild was established to help those in the business optimize profit. Yusup, who is 63, became one of the guild's earliest members. With the help of his family, Yusup can make 50 kilograms of butter naan and earn 500 yuan (72 U.S. dollars) a day. (Xinhua/Zhao Ge)
