Xu Zhuchu, a national-level intangible cultural heritage inheritor of Zhangzhou wood puppet head carving, displays a wood puppet head at a studio in Zhangzhou City, southeast China's Fujian Province, Nov. 28, 2018. Listed as one of the national intangible cultural heritages in 2006, Zhangzhou wood puppet carving features exquisite craftsmanship. Xu's works of puppet head carving are known for rich and delicate facial expressions. Nowadays, Xu and his son, Xu Qiang, set up a studio of wood puppet to popularize local puppet culture.
