Exhibition presents Zambian society to China

AFROriental Art Expo, a project under the "2019 Zambia-China Culture Year" framework, kicked off on April 22 at the China World Art Museum in Beijing. The exhibition, co-organized by Zambia's Ministry of Tourism and Arts and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, showcases 52 paintings and sculptures by 37 Zambian artists. These artworks reflect Zambians' daily lives and express the artists' love of nature from a contemporary perspective. 

Charles Banda, Minister of Tourism and Arts of Zambia, Wang Xiaofeng, member of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, Winnie N. Chibesakunda, Ambassador of Zambia to China and Paul Chikawa, Ambassador of Zimbabwe to China attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.


The exhibition will last until May 5th.
