​'From Courbet, Corot to Impressionism': French masterpieces on show in Beijing

An exhibition titled "From Courbet, Corot to Impressionism: World of Light and Shadow from Normandy, France" opened on July 17 at the Beijing World Art Museum in Beijing. As part of the Festival Croisements 2021, the exhibition presents 61 French masterpieces inspired by the Normandy region, including works by key figures in the impressionist movement such as Claude Monet and Berthe Morisot, leader of the realist movement Gustave Courbet, and French Barbizon School painter Camille Corot.
