Maldives inaugurates Chinese-built apron at Velena Int'l Airport

A water salute is seen to celebrate the inauguration of the newly expanded west apron at the Velena International Airport (VIA) in Maldives, Nov. 4, 2021. The expanded apron covers an area of 35,000 square meters and is part of the VIA development project.
