A view of the green mountains in Fenghuangling Nature Park, Beijing, Nov. 13, 2022. Located in Niegezhuang village, Sujiatuo township in Beijing's Haidian district, Fenghuangling (meaning "Phoenix Ridge") Nature Park is a national 4A scenic spot. Covering an area of over 10 square kilometers, the park boasts dense forests, winding paths, rugged peaks and clear mountain springs. It has been dubbed the "Lungs of Beijing," as the air purity and content of negative oxygen ions in the scenic area are five times and 150 times higher than that in the downtown area, respectively. The park is divided into north, south and central areas, with more than 40 scenic and cultural spots including Buddhist, Taoist and Confucianist sites. [Photo by Yan Bin/China.org.cn]
