The coffee bean processing factory, which Jiang Jingtai works for, roasts about 500 kilograms of coffee beans every day, covering the supplies of dozens of cafes in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. The northeastern border city of Yanji in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture has witnessed a spark of coffee trend as over 540 coffee shops are registered in the 680,000 dwellers city in recent years. According to the data from Meituan Waimai, a major food delivery platform in China, Yanji ranked first in coffee consumption among counties (including county-level cities) in China from January to February this year.
