Editor's note: The 2023 Hunan (Summer) Rural Cultural Tourism Festival commenced on Saturday in Jishou city, located in central China's Hunan province, with the aim of boosting the development of the rural cultural tourism industry. The festival features a range of activities designed to explore local villages and promote the rich rural and Miao ethnic group culture. Here are some highlights from the rural cultural tour in Jishou.
