Editor's note:

Chinese artist David Yuan's solo exhibition"Serendipity" opened on Saturday at Somsoc Gallery in Tokyo, Japan, and will run through Dec. 17.

The exhibition features an array of unique artworks and limited-edition products and is drawing a global audience. It includes Tokyo-exclusive signed canvas prints and digital inkjet prints, each offering unique value to collectors.

The exhibition also includes a series of collaborative sculptures titled "Mr. Davyuan & Artists," featuring artworks by Yuan in collaboration with other artists. These collaborations include an art installation by Chinese intangible cultural heritage bamboo weaving artist Qian Lihuai, and a glow-in-the-dark edition of "David Yuan x Ferenc Kö (Hungary)" specially brought from Hungary for the Tokyo exhibition.

For the first time, the exhibition introduces David Yuan's art merchandise to Tokyo, including plush toys, 3D badges, figurines, canvas bags and T-shirts, all available in limited quantities at the venue.
