For Shu Xingyu, a professional manager of a specialized agricultural machinery cooperative in Chongzhou of southwest China's Sichuan Province, the days starting from early May to early June is a busy farming season of a year. In addition to the work on harvesting wheat and transplanting rice, Shu is also busy coordinating the plowing, organizing drones to spread pesticide, arranging the drying of harvested wheat, and distributing rice seedlings among local farmers. Shu Xingyu graduated in 2015 from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and a few years later he resigned his work and brought modern agricultural technology back to his hometown.
