5. Premier League 2000/2001 season-Manchester United 5-3 Tottenham Hotspurs

This result has ensured that Tottenham will never be able to relax against Manchester United—regardless of the score. The Spurs held an apparently strong 3-0 lead in the first half, with goals from Dean Richards, Les Ferdinand and Christian Ziege, but United roared back in an astonishing comeback.

In the second half, Andy Cole grabbed an early goal to put the pressure on. United swarmed the pitch and took the lead with a trio of goals from Laurent Blanc, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Juan Sebastian Veron. Then David Beckham stabbed a dagger through Tottenham's heart with a goal to make it 5-3 and end the Hotspurs' title dreams.
